Of note, his innovative approaches to building a successful case led him to become a guest faculty lecturer to the FBI.

He was later asked to become a focus-group adviser to the National White-Collar Crime Center (NW3Cs).

Eventually, he was recruited by a prominent New York City law firm located on Fifth Avenue. That firm had heard of, and then seen, Mr. Zorowitz' trial work and asked him to apply his skills to their civil cases. This began Mr. Zorowitz' immersion into civil practice

Values from the beginning

Attorney Steven Zorowitz graduated from New York University. In 1992, he graduated from New York Law School. He distinguished himself in law school as one of the top performing law students, earning a place on one of the law school's coveted law journals. Before graduating, he authored an article on the subject of attorney / client confidentiality; he won the state bar associaton's Student Legal Ethics Award. He was a criminal prosecutor for the City of New where he was cross-designated to the special narcotics office, New York County District Attorney's Office. He was a criminal prosector for nearly 14 years and his legal background is extensive. Cases he's investigated, prosecuted, defended or taken to trial include everything from DUI / DWI, Assualt, Robbery, White-Collar Crime, Organized Crime, Tax Fraud, even Murder. Attorney Zorowitz left public service as the trial advisor to the Prosecutor's Law Division, encompassing the Investigations Unit's Rackets and Economic Crimes Bureaus.

Leaders make things happen
In addition to being an active member of civic organizations, Lawyer Steven M. Zorowitz is one of the Attorney Trustees for the New Jersey Bar Association's Criminal Justice section. In 2003, he served as a guest faculty lecturer during the FBI's Quantico training. That year, he was also selected as one of 7 professional lawyers nationwide to be an advisor/ focus group member to the National White Collar Crime Center that was re-vamping its services to law enforcement, attorneys and the public.
